Formerly home to the Heights General Store, owner Alli Jarrett has converted the first floor space into a 1,300 square foot bar that serves a full bar including specialty cocktails, beer and wine on tap, and of course, bar snacks.
Tap Room hours:
- Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Thursday and Friday 11a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Sunday 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
* Food service ends an hour before closing.
Between seats at the bar, a lounge area, and a covered outdoor space, the converted establishment adds about 50 seats to Harold’s and serves as a 19th street facing entrance for the restaurant.
Carrying on the local and farm ingredients tradition, cocktails from bar manager Lauren Muse will focus on seasonal ingredients and intricate infusions. The “Double Feature” involves drinkers in the cocktail-making process. You can infuse your own cocktail for two with a Texas soda of choice and fresh seasonal spices and fruits. Bar bites include simple Southern dishes, such as a Country Ham Plate served with cultured butter, Steen’s cane syrup and biscuits and Pizza from the Pizzaria sharing the historical location.
